Shipping policy

It is the responsibility of the customer to track their package to ensure delivery. If you are having issues with your shipment please reach out to the shipping company directly. Domestic orders are usually shipped via USPS and international orders are usually shipped via UPS. Please refer to your Shipping Confirmation email for the exact carrier used for your order. To ensure successful delivery please include your phone number at check out and we will provide this information to the shipping company so they can contact you if there are issues. If the package cannot be delivered and has to be returned to us the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping fees or duties charges accrued during the return shipment. This amount will be deducted from the refund amount.

Domestic Orders

All domestic orders are processed and in the mail within 3-5 business days. Once in the mail, transit time is estimated at 2-10 business days (that is in addition to the processing time, so about 3-15 days total). We offer free Economy (Standard) USPS mail on orders over $50. Transit time will vary depending upon location, items are shipped out of Smyrna, GA. We do not do overnight/express shipping. Insurance and/or signature upon delivery are not included. 

Holidays & weekends are not counted as a “business” or “transit” day. These days are all based on the most accurate estimate we can provide, there can be occurrences that cause a delay in shipment that are out of our control.

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

We do the best we can here to get your order out on time, but if for any reason you have an issue with your order please visit our contact page.

International Orders

All international orders (outside of the USA) are shipped via UPS. International orders are done manually, once your order status is “fulfilled”, it has shipped (tracking is not included). The processing time is the same as non-international orders, 3-5 business days. Transit time is estimated at 5-30 business days (this is only an estimate) but will vary depending upon the location of your country and its policies. UPS does not offer online tracking accessibility for every International shipping option, but you can email contact@brokenforestco.com for information & proof of shipment. Since First Class mail does not come with online tracking, the customer accepts that proof of delivery is not provided.

Please note that every so often a package may get stopped by customs (due to crossing country borderlines), if stopped, this will significantly increase the transit time. We do not guarantee transit time will be within the “approximate” time frames stated above for international orders.

Custom Fees & Duties

When your package is delivered, your country may or may not put a customs charge/fee on your package. Please be aware that this is a possibility. It is not an extra charge from us (Broken Forest Collective), it is your country charging you for importing goods across country borders. We will not be liable for any extra charges placed on the order package. If a customs fee/charge is placed and not paid by you, the package will eventually be sent back to us. Once we receive the unpaid package, we will take it as a return and there will be a 10% restocking fee.
